My best of 2013

1.

I chose this image as one of my best because I love the orange and green colors. I also like how you can see all the veins on the leaves. Another thing I like about the photo is that the light in the background is os bright that the camera only focused on the leaves and not what is around.

I chose this as one of my best because I like how the purple is so bright and how the flower is the only thing in focus. I also like how there is so much detail from the flower shown.

I chose this picture because the spider is the main subject and I also like how the light reflects on the spiderweb making it even more clear.

I chose this photo because I like how its black and white and how It looks like the mural is in 3D.

1. Pop Culture
To me this pictures shows excitement and happiness and this is expressed by their facial expressions. The way the picture is black and white bring attention to the way their hair moves.

I chose this as the best news photo because the picture really represents what is going on in Istanbul. I like how the flag pops because it is the brightest and how the light behind goes through the flag and illuminates the flag and brings even more attention to it.

I chose this as the best animal photo because it shows innocence in the cub. I like how the eyes stand out and how bright they are. I also like how the cub is not looking straight at the camera.

I chose this as the best sports photo because I like silhouettes and how the picture gives a clear image of what is going on because the silhouettes are so clear. Another thing I like is that the sunset makes the background go from light to darker across the picture.
